I will update back when I finally loot this item.
I know this is a large post but I hope it is helpful to any of you rogues that may be trying to farm this.
If you are a tab targeter like me, there is a GD that spawns right where you get the best chance to loot the mobs, have to kill it every few minutes as it will mess up targeting on large mobs. If you hammer the pickpocket action button on every mob, you will loot the same amount of silver 2-3 times off each one ( my highest take off a single mob was 1g12s got 43s 3 times)ģ. Make sure to have the "Glyph of Pickpocket" as the mobs are running as they pass, the extra 5 yards is nice and I miss very few mobs.Ģ. I think the numbers are pretty high and make this spot the fastest farming area for picking pockets I have found.ġ. (although Fleet Footed is nice here as well) So on to the numbers to prove my point.ĥ days of farming 2-3 hours a day has gotten me:ġ350g (just from picking pockets and the few gold I get from vendoring the trash)Ħ pairs of Decahedral Dwarven Dice (50g per on AH) Yes the Avalanche is nice but to much random movement of the mobs, same with the Conflagration gate the danger of aggroing a mob is too high to make good time.The Valley also takes the need to have talent points in the sub tree. The supply of boxes is unlimited as you don't have to wait for them to repopulate the contents of their pockets or kill them to spawn to new mobs. There is an area these mobs will run to and de-spawn, 3-5 at a time will pass through, just stand in the area they are running through and pick them as they pass. The mobs are friendly to Alliance so no danger of aggroing while pickpocketing (I'm sure there is a horde friendly area as well). The absolute best spot I've found is in the "Valley of the Fallen Heroes" in Icecrown, directly south of the Shadow Vault.
